Question by Heather H: Getting stent removed tomorrow and have started my period?
I had surgery last Tuesday to remove a kidney stone. I had a stent inserted that is due to be removed tomorrow. My question is can I wear a tampon while having a stent. My period started Sunday and is pretty heavy so I am embarrased to wear a pad. Will they still remove the stint while I am having my period. I am having anxiety at the thought of keeping the stent in any longer. I have been in severe pain since the surgery. Thanks!

im guessing that they wont care. they are doctors.
they might just have u take ur pad off or ur tampon out though.. so bring a couple extras.
